Held at Lusail International Circuit — a 2004 motorcycle track rebuilt into the world's longest pit lane building, on the outskirts of Doha.
Lusail ran real motorsport history — MotoGP's first-ever night race — nearly two decades before F1 arrived. The 2023 rebuild that turned it into today's 52,000-capacity venue, with a 402-metre pit lane building and 50 pit boxes, the largest on the calendar, didn't touch the layout underneath it. You're racing on a track that earned its reputation before this sport ever noticed it.
This is also a genuinely affordable race by F1 standards. Getting to the circuit costs nothing extra either: the Doha Metro Red Line plus the ticket-holder shuttle is free with any race ticket, a rarity on this calendar.
