Abu Dhabi closes the Formula 1 season, and it's done that every year since Yas Marina Circuit opened in 2009 as the sport's first-ever twilight race — a start in daylight, a finish under floodlights, powered by roughly 4,700 light fixtures switched on across less than 300 days of construction.
