Getting around, cheaply
The Deuce, RTC's 24/7 double-decker bus, runs the full length of the Strip and connects directly to the Grand Prix's downtown and Strip-side zones — a car is actively a liability during F1 week when the Strip closes to regular traffic for the circuit. A 24-hour Deuce pass costs $8 and covers unlimited rides along the whole race corridor, far better value than single fares at $4 each if you're moving around more than twice a day.
A local money-saving trick
Food at the circuit itself splits sharply by ticket tier — general zones like the Koval Zone and West Harmon Zone sell casual plates (Baja bowls, sandwiches, burgers) from on-site vendors, while only the priciest hospitality tickets include full catering. Beyond the track, Vegas's classic buffets remain the best value lever — off-Strip options like South Point's Garden Buffet are typically cheaper than Strip casino buffets for a comparable spread.
